Split airport on the mainland is well connected with most of the major European airports, in summer with direct flights. Low cost companies EASY JET, GERMAN WINGS, Wizzair, JET2com, NORWEGIAN, Vueling, Transavia also fly to Split.
SPLIT AIRPORT TRANSFER TIMES: from 1h45min by car/minibus (via ferry); 45 minutes by private speed boat or motor yacht
AIRPORT BRAČ: small airport on our island, 30 km from the villa. In summer it is connected with Malmoe, Leipzig and Düsseldorf by Express Airlines flights and with Zagreb by Croatian Airlines. It can also be used for charters and private planes.
OTHER AIRPORTS: Zadar airport is also not far, some 1h35min drive from Split ferry port. It is Croatia's RYANAIR base connecting Dalmatia and 16 European cities on low cost direct flights. Dubrovnik airport is 3h30min drive from Split.
AIRPORT TRANSFER OPTIONS:
1. Directly from the airport to a pier in front of the villa by private speedboat (30 minutes).
2. Transfer by minibus all the way from the airport to the villa (via ferry)
3. Minibus transfer from the Split airport to the Split ferry port (30 minutes) +ferry from Split to Supetar (50 minutes) + taxi to the villa (10 minutes)

Arriving by car...
Highway A1 to Split + Ferry from Split to Supetar
When arriving by car, use Croatian A1 HIGHWAY and exit at Split - Dugopolje. From the exit continue some 20 km to Split ferry port on road D1, D8 and Poljička cesta - on entrance to Split just follow the signs for the ferry port (croatian: "TRAJEKT")!
Ferries from Split to Supetar go from early morning to late night, 14 times a day in high season and 9 times a day in lower season. Journey time is some 50 minutes.

About Mirca - peaceful seaside village close to lively Supetar
Villa Gumonca is situated just few meters form the beach in the village Mirca, 3km west from Supetar, which is the biggest town on the island of Brac and port for ferries connecting the island with the city of Split. Although it is so easy to reach and close to towns, Mirca is peaceful and easygoing. There is a small harbor for local fishermen's boats with a jetty and couple of beautiful pebbly beaches. One can walk to all the necessities. The nearest restaurant and a cafe are only some 2 minutes on foot from the villa, but there are also other great restaurants in the surroundings which the villa manager can recommend and they are all between 5 and 15 minutes' drive by car or taxi. Nearest grocery shop is 10 minutes by walk from Villa Gumonca, in the traditional old center of Mirca which still has the authentic island village architecture with stone houses and narrow streets.

Supetar and Brač island
The lively town of Supetar is the central town of Brac island and our main connection with mainland. Here one can find plenty restaurants, bars, night bars, big supermarkets, markets, bank, hospital, sports fields, water sport centers etc. Supetar's pretty waterfront town center often houses different cultural events, concerts, exhibitions, folklore evenings and plays, organised as a part of Supetar summer of culture. The center of Supetar is just 5 minutes’ drive from the Villa Gumonca by car or taxi. If you like to walk, you will be there after a nice 30 minutes stroll or 10 minutes of easy bike ride on shaded paths.
